Terms and Conditions – Boat Rental

These Terms apply to boat rental services provided by AVANCAT Service j.d.o.o.
1. Company Information

2. Services
We provide boat rental services in Dubrovnik, including vessels such as:

Services may include rentals with or without skipper, depending on availability and agreement.
3. Booking
- Bookings are confirmed via email or direct communication
- A deposit may be required
- Full payment is required before or at departure
4. Rental Duration
Rental duration is flexible and agreed individually.
Possible options include:
- half-day rental
- full-day rental
- multi-day rental (upon agreement)
Exact timing is confirmed per booking.
5. Passenger Capacity
The vessel is operated in accordance with its official certification and legal safety limits.
Maximum passenger capacity is defined according to the vessel’s valid documentation and must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
6. Cancellation Policy
Customer cancellation:
- free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure
- late cancellation may result in deposit retention
Company cancellation:
We may cancel due to:
- weather conditions
- safety concerns
- technical issues
Full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
7. Weather Conditions
Safety is our priority. All navigation decisions are based on professional judgment and maritime safety standards.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- follow safety instructions
- act responsibly
- avoid alcohol/drug impairment
- respect equipment and skipper instructions
9. Skipper Authority
If a skipper is present, they have full authority over navigation and safety decisions.
10. Bareboat Rentals
Where applicable, the renter must have a valid boating license and assumes full responsibility for the vessel.
11. Liability
The Company is not liable for:
- personal belongings lost or damaged
- injuries caused by improper use
- delays or changes due to weather or force majeure
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental service.
Customers are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or misuse.
12. Insurance
The vessel is covered by standard maritime insurance in accordance with Croatian regulations. Coverage is subject to the terms of the insurance policy.
13. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for events beyond our control, including weather, restrictions, or emergencies.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
